Client overview

Chirps turns short text into shareable videos presented by human-like AI avatars, for announcements, stories and promotions. We worked on the web application and the video render pipeline behind it.

The problem

Video takes time most people do not have: Short videos get attention on social media, but filming, voicing and editing a clip for every update is slow. Chirps lets people go from a few lines of text to a finished, branded video.

What we worked on

Text to avatar video
Users write their text, pick an avatar and voice, and generate a Chirp with automated lip-sync.
An editor in the browser
Timeline, voice over, audio import, speed, pitch and volume controls, pauses and text replacement.
Branding
Logo upload, display name, X handle and date on each video.
Render pipeline
Text and image assets go in, layout rules and kinetic typography are applied, and videos are rendered programmatically with headless rendering.
